Working full-time and being in grad school is hard. On top of that, trying to read 100 books in a year while working full-time and being in grad school is even more challenging. With a little over a month left in my 100 books challenge, I’ve read 62 books. While impressive, I feel a bit bad for not meeting my goal. It’s the perfectionist in me, but I will just set a more realistic goal for next year.
But I did just finish reading Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood, and once again, she has made me feel all of the feelings. I felt so seen after reading this. I’m beyond grateful for Ali and writing about women in STEM, but also romances about women in STEM. She always aptly draws on and identifies the nuances of what it feels like I go through on a daily basis. Having that type of representation is critical and there should be more of it.
I will be back with my favorite books that I have read this year, but I want to note that Love, Theoretically is a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ read, and as you are reading that you should go read the rest of Ali Hazelwood’s books.
