I know it has been a while since I last posted here. The past two years have been tough. Between dealing with family stuff and finishing grad school, something had to give in my life, and this website was the thing. But now that I officially have a Master’s of Public Administration, I can focus on the things I love, like reading and sharing my opinions about what I read. So here is my plan now that 2025 is over, and 2026 is upon us.
First, I will post more regularly here. I will try to give an update on each book I have read that month and a monthly wrap-up that includes books still in progress. An in-progress post will be coming tomorrow for all the books I didn’t finish in 2025 (more than I’d like).
I will also be updating my reading challenges for 2026. I already have a few planned. And buy a few, I mean 12, gotta go big or go home now that I have more free time. We will see how that goes. I also plan to read 75 books in 2026, down from 100 last year. I have always been a Type A personality and overly ambitious in most areas of my life. My reading goals are no different, even when I have a million other things happening in my life at the same time.
So, as I say goodbye to 2025, I invite you to check out my Substack, where you will get briefer, more random updates on my reading than you would here. And if you like watching TV shows from the 2000s and a wide variety of movies, check out my other Substack, TV and Me, where I share my opinions on some of my favorite TV shows and movies. My first rewatch of 2026 is going to be Scandal, one of my all time favorite shows.
And now I’m off to prep for 2026, so I can handle it.
