This was a quick read with a relatable main character and supporting characters. I felt like I could relate to what they were going through as at times I felt like their experiences matched some that I had myself. I’m looking forward to reading future books in this series.

While this was a romantic comedy, I really do enjoy books where the characters and relatable and you are rooting mor for their life to work out than their love story. And that is how I was with this book. I was hoping that Vassa would get over her issues and that Lazarus would figure out what actually was going to make him happy. I was glad that in the end they were able grow as individuals and still end up together.
