So it’s been a while. My last post was just published, but I had started writing it in March. That is what happens when life happens. But a lot has happened.
I’ve read a lot of books, studied for an 8 hour professional licensing exam, read some more, found out I passed said licensing exam, and now I get to just relax and work.
But passing my professional engineering exam has been something I have been working towards for a very long time and I can now say that I’m a professional engineer. Let me just say that a very long time, is basically years. And there where many many many times where I actually doubted myself into thinking that I would ever be able to call myself a professional engineer. Because lets be honest, no matter how many years of experience I had accumulated, the old boys of engineering still didn’t consider me a “real” engineer. But now I am!
I still get chills when I say that. But I can now officially cross that accomplishment off my list of things to do and move on to the next thing. What the next thing is, I don’t know yet. I had been advised to take some time and let the universe guide me to what I should be doing next, and I’m trying to do that. I haven’t gotten any signs yet, for now I am just enjoying knowing that I don’t need to devote months of my life to studying anymore (at least until I decide to go back to school).
Be on the look out for more book reviews coming soon. I’m in the middle of a few interesting reads that I can’t wait to share with you all.
