So the world loves Colleen Hoover, and I didn’t understand the hype. I decided to listen/read Regretting You. If I’m being honest I started it almost a full year ago, but then didn’t resume my Kindle Unlimited subscription so I never finished it.
The cover photo shows how I feel about this book, I regret reading it. I know that it might be an unpopular opinion since I see Colleen Hoover everywhere where when it comes to books right now, but I had to force myself to finish it.
I think my largest annoyance came in the form of Clara. I wanted to slap her for most of the book. She was so entitled and such a brat. She made me cringe the entire time. And her mother wasn’t any better. Honestly I felt bad for Miller and Jonah. There was a lot of crazy that they didn’t deserve.
I’m going to try another Colleen Hoover book this year, but I don’t see what all of the hype is about. It actually makes me sad that I had to rate the first book that I finished in 2022 so low.
