And just like that it is a new year is upon us. Don’t know how that snuck up on me at all, but it did. And now that 2023 is here I am now a grad student. I am now working towards a Masters of Public Administration.

How did I get to an MPA and I’m an engineer you ask? Blame me getting upset at a coworker and my boss putting ideas into my head. Never make decisions when you are mad, it doesn’t end well for anyone; me especially right now. So now I get to balance my full time job, reading, my volunteer commitments, and grad school. Can you hear the excitement in the post?

I have always loved learning, so I am actually very excited for this new endeavor, but give me a month or two for the shock to wear off and get used to the idea that I’m going to have to write papers again. I became an engineer for a reason and the lack of paper writing was one of the top reasons for that choice.
