So it depends on which desk you are asking about. My work desk contains a coffee mug that reads Steminist and when my office is ready (renovations aren’t done just yet) it will contain an RBG quote poster and a print that reads “A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes” (I’m a very big Cinderella fan). Along with many files for different clients and a lot of flow data for both water and wastewater.

My desk at home on the other hand is one that I enjoy much more. It is a work in progress, but we are getting there. It contains my London scented candle (aka tea and lemon), my pile of books that I am currently reading, the unread book pile, my book journal and my personal journal.

It is my quite space where I can go to just be. A sanctuary (when it is all finished) for me to get away from the stressful day that I have had in engineering and just dive into the world (or facts) of my book.
